 • 500 Dollars raised for current mission (it's important to have funding for fundraisers)

 • Connection to Orphanage in Haiti (potential mission trip)

 • Social media (advertising, reaching out to parents, donators ect.)

 • Connection to Dorothy Mindingal (member of Miami-dade school board who I've done volunteering with before)

 • Connection to ceo of non fir profit in miami dade/fort Lauderdale area (a good mentor for teaching me how to create grant applications, and find other sources of fundraising)

 • connection to an accountant in Miami (had helped me start my non profit)

 • a partner who has great knowledge in photography, and web design (need web design and photography for promotion)

 • my own education in how business management works (will need this to run my own business)

 • knowledge gained from my entrepreneurship course (this course has taught me many different things from my business management course. Not conflicting, just unique and from the perspective of small business)

 • connection to my entrepreneurship teacher (helpful advisor to my idea)

 • experience hosting fundraisers with my mother growing up (fundraisers are the number one way I see me getting the money I need to complete my first mission trip)

  • I believe my most important resource is currently my experience helping with fundraisers growing up. I have a planned fundraiser this Christmas break, and without proper funds I cannot do what I have sought out to achomplish.

  1. I am amazed with your experience to help fundraisers grow. I have never met someone with that kind of experience. Do you lay out where you got that experience in previous posts? If that is the case, I should go back a read through your blog. That experience will definitely differentiate your fundraisers form other ventures who would try to compete.

    1. My mom was very involved with food for the poor and other fundraisers after the earthquake in Haiti. The board she is on in FIU also has done other fundraisers for the Caribbean. As a Caribbean author she likes to give back
